Stillllll sick. Stupid cold. I think it's starting to get better though . . . except for the ear pain.
This is so pathetic but I'm actually getting really stressed about what to wear to the Dir en Grey show on the 13th. X_X I guess I should give up and just wear whatever, I'm not going to look "cool" anyway. :P It's probably just sad that my doll is getting h. naoto stuff before me. ._.; Well it's true I very very rarely buy clothes for myself, I still wear stuff I've had since high school or before. (He'll look better in it anyhow . . .)
For the Doctor Who fans, since I only just found out about this I figured I'd pass it on . . . there was a Christmas special this year too, "The Runaway Bride". Also, the first episode of "The Sarah Jane Smith Adventures" aired on the 1st of January. I watched the Xmas special, it was fairly entertaining; I haven't watched the Sarah Jane show yet, it's a 60-min special which will be followed by 10 30-min episodes later this year. It's a kid's show, apparently. I'm not interested in watching Torchwood so . . . :P
The third season is still just "Spring 2007", but there's a fairly long preview on the end of the Xmas special, including the new companion, Martha Jones (okay, she IS the first non-white companion, isn't she?). The third season will also have a companion animated series running in segments with each episode. Personally, I was disappointed by the second season overall; I could detail the reasons why I think that the Rose arc was just writing themselves into a corner they never should have gotten into, but you probably already thought that or completely disagree so . . . anyway I'm hoping that getting BEYOND Rose will be good for the series.
So I saw there was an episode pack for this show Nishi no Yoki Majo: Astraea Testament and for some reason I got it. I just realized that even though I long since passed the point I decided it wasn't any good, I've STILL only made it through episode 6 of 13 . . . I think I'll give up now. It's a train wreck of a series and I only kept going because it kept veering in new, even less sensical directions.
But it has brought to my attention what may well be the LEAST PRACTICAL outfit for fencing of all time. (It'd make more sense if this was a fanservice series, but it's actually not.)
This one is from Soukou no Strain. I'm sure anyone who watches anime knows that sometimes they get lazy with the details in some of the shots. But this one amused me XD Proof that Nike really IS the evil empire! (You can also tell the Deague are the bad guys because their ship has really poor lighting.)
