Damn I haven't posted here in forever.
Life has been super busy. In a few short months I will be taking on my first half marathon- the 13.1 Nike Women's Half Marathon in San Francisco. I'm taking on this daunting task (I've never run more than 6 miles) with Team-in-Training, an organization that supports and funds the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Our team is training alongside Leukemia and Lymphoma survivors who have been benefited by the society- at my last training session I met Gil, who has survived 20 years of chemotherapy and loss of sight in his left eye to train for a marathon with his son. It is really humbling and moving that medical advancement now allows people these kinds of second chances. In conjunction with my training I am fundraising for the Leukemia and Lymphoma society, which uses the funds for research into cures for blood cancer as well as support for leukemia and lymphoma patients. The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society receives no government or private funds- it is run entirely on donations. If you would like to support the amazing work they do, please consider making a (100% tax-deductible!) donation via my fundraising page, where you can find more information about what they do.

I'm giving away a couple prints as donation bonuses. Thanks guys!
