Just another day in the neighborhood
nahuelito drove down from Atlanta and hung out in Columbus with me for a bit. It was really great to see her after such a long time. Tevus even let her pet her! We ate lunch at Fountain City Coffee. I hadn't been there in a few weeks, and I didn't recognize anyone that was working. I guess the Saturday crew is different from the folks that work during trivia. Afterwards, we walked down to this house called "The Folly," described as
the only double-octagonal house in the United States. The first octagon consists of a central chimney and a fireplace in each of the rooms, andthe second octagon is a bedroom.
It was pretty neat. I loved the colors. There's a picture here, but the colors are completely different now.
After nahuelito left to drive back to Athens, I chilled for a bit and then went into work. I was the backup attorney this past week for intake, so I had to respond, by letter mostly, to all the people who called in this week with legal problems. I got most of the letters written. Super fun. And, I went back to Fountain City with beatl23 for a smoothie. I normally am anti-smoothie, but it's just fruit and I think a little yogurt. It was tasty. Left there a little before 6, came home and made dinner and watched some of season 3 of Doctor Who. I think I will read for the rest of the evening and go to bed early. I have to go back to work tomorrow to play more catch up.
