Well phooey. It appears Santa will most likely be bringing me a new washing machine for Christmas this year. The start winder (or something like that) is going out on the motor, causing it to overheat and cut off. It will cost around $330 to replace it. And, I can buy a brand new washing machine for that much. Apparently this washing machine is over 15 years old. I don't really see the point in investing any money in it. So, I'm kinda bummed. One thing I love about Christmas with my family is that we never get "useful" stuff for Christmas. It's always fun and superfluous. But I really need a washing machine, and I don't really want to shell out the money for one. Especially since I have some dentist bills coming up in January. Money sucks. Practical Christmas presents suck. Bah humbug.
