First impressions of Chapel Hill

Well I've now been here for a couple of days. I drove around a bit today to get my bearings and see where things are. Here are a few things I noticed:

1. No "W the President" stickers. Thank god.
2. Very few SUVs. Perhaps because...
3. Gas is expensive ($2.19/gal was the cheapest I saw), at least compared to Columbia ($1.99/gal) and Augusta ($1.88/gal).

I haven't found a cool looking coffee shop yet, but there may be some in Franklin St. Haven't walked around there much yet. I walked around the apartment complex a little. I didn't realize how huge the community is. I mean, fucking huuuuuuge. I"ll take a picture of the skyline down this one street next time I'm walking around. I took some pictures of the apartment and a couple outside too. If you wanna look, they're here. Also, I saw this car as I was walking around looking for my bus stop. I found it no problem. I thought it would be far away, but it will take about 1 minute to walk there. Considering I have to be at work at 8:30, this is good.

On entirely different note, I thought this was kinda funny -- Little boy climbs in toy machine

pics, random news, hanging out
