Ok people, I'm in the process of assembling a reading list for the summer. Last summer I did nothing but work and sit on my ass. I swear I am not doing that again. So, here are the books I'm intending to read, hopefully I can check them out of the UNC library or something, because I definitely can't buy them all. But, I would love recommendations.

2. The Da Vinci Code
3. The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
4. A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man
5. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
6. Invisible Man
7. The Strange Career of Jim Crow
8. The White Image in the Black Mind: African-American Ideas about White People, 1830-1925
The list isn't that long, and I'm a pretty quick reader. So, recommend away please!
