eh. religion.

from what i gather, tithing is voluntary. you should only be expected to give if you have money to spare. but then again, the bible is so vague that people interpret it differently. and i think some churches can make the attendees feel guilty into giving money which i think is wrong. ugh.

but yeah, glad your mom is safe!! :-)

thats exactly what i do not like! guilttripping, and that the church goers don't seem to realize. but i digress.

Tithing isn't giving scraps of cash that you have left at the end of the week, it is a tenth of your earnings. My dad tithes wood that gets when he goes bush and stuff like that too from time to time.

Anyways, is why the bible is jibberish to many people is because the Holy Spirit provides wisdom to interpret the words that are written in the bible.

Hmm. So are you required to tithe then?

I didn't mean the bible is jibberish, but it seems like a lot of people and christians interpret things in the bible differently.

You aren't required to tithe, it is just the whole finacial blessing thing that kicks in when we freely give.
