WHO: Chinscream and [OPEN]
WHAT: Starscream is recovering and taking visitors in the hospital. Also some insight to his nefarious plan gone awry.
WHERE: The hospital.
WHEN: All day Wednesday.
WARNINGS/NOTES: None.
At least the worst of the pain has been quelled as his repairs progress. He's guarded himself as well as he can from the curiosities of the staff. Won't let them near him with any of the life-monitoring equipment. Won't let them see his spark chamber. They were all a little leery of him.
For good reason.
He keeps turning it over in his head. It had not gone off as he'd planned. Not at all. Joel had caught him rigging the explosives to the generator. Put up a struggle. He'd managed to wound Starscream to the point that by the time he had murdered him, it was too late to escape the full blast. He remembered leaving the owner's corpse by the generator. Obliterate the evidence. The claw marks on his arms and chassis.
He'd barely made it out to the main hall when the first blast went off. It had knocked him off his feet and ignited the bar. That was the second explosion. The one that dropped the support beam on his back. The rest was heat and flames, melting the metal that pinned him to his back, searing wings and chassis. He'd intended to take some damage. To make it believable- to eliminate himself from the suspect list...
This was not what he had in mind.
It was alright, though. The insurance on the building, and the life insurance on Joel himself yielded. How stupid they were... nobody had suspected he'd forged the will. It had been so easy it was laughable-
He winced as a trickle of pain crept through his wings.
It was a partial success. Soon he'd have a new club, a new place to live, and live comfortably at that.
He relaxed onto the berth.
He'd be accepting visitors today. Whoever would want to come see him. He half-dreaded it, but he felt fairly safe in the security of the hospital and it's staff.
