[It's been . . . kind of a long week.  Wheeljack's been doing the best he could with the knowledge that was revealed to him recently.  For those who've seen him, he's not been quite his usual perky self.  Not bad or anything, just . . . kind of quiet.  Pensive.  Keeping to himself, in a sense.  He's not been out much.  Well, not that he's been avoiding anyone, but he's not gone out of his normal routine at all either.  But there's a question that's been weighing on him with the rest.  Easier to start his inquiry with the network before trying to tackle the bureaucratic red-tape only to likely come up empty-handed anyway.]

Hey . . . question for the Nexus.  When we finally get our exit visas - an' yeah, yeah, I know, lotta you are arguin' "if", but people do get them eventually, people have so . . .

People do go home.  We know that.  Might take forever, but it happens.  An' we're told that when they do, their memories of their time here are erased first or somethin', right?  Stuff about not lettin' TransTech...um, tech or any other tech affect our own world.  Nothin' that's not native.  Somethin' like that, right?  But . . . what about knowledge we learn here that's strictly got ta do with our own world?  Somethin' from our own exact Stream?

People come here not only from all different Streams, but even different points in time in the same Stream.  What if ya learn somethin' that . . . I mean, when we're sent back, it's back ta the same point we left, right?  Not before or after?  So . . . what if we learn somethin' that . . . could . . . say, save a life?  Or . . . many lives?  Do they let us keep that at least?  So when we go back, maybe we can make a difference?

There's gotta be some advantage to it all.  What use is it otherwise?  Gotta be somethin' could be done with it.  Somethin' . . . somethin' good.
