[The vid comes on in the middle of a sentence, and it's definitely a Stascream's voice speaking, even if most of the video is a blue hand on top of the communicator.]
--ll right, give me the projections for the Jump Drives. We're getting Hornet's endorsement on this, right?
[Another voice speaks.] ...Er. Yes, Hornet's signed on to endorse them, and Driveshaft too, but...
[The video shifts as Starscream moves his hand, looking up the underside of his chest as he leans forward.] I don't like buts, Twistline. But what?
[There's a pause, a lengthy one, filled by the sound of giant robots shuffling around sheepishly. Starscream's hand drops to the tabletop with a clack, and his fingers start to drum. Finally, someone else starts to speak hesitantly.]
...Triblast Tech Solutions are releasing an anti-grav booster kit aimed at Lightning Tag players in about two decacycles. Ours won't be in stores for at least three, possibly longer if the manufactures in Four can't get their acts together.
[Starscream's engine gives a very audible rev, and there's another long, tense silence as he throttles it back down to idle. When he speaks, he sounds perfectly calm.] Get legal on it. The anti-grav tech we're using in the Jump Drives isn't proprietary, but I'm sure they can do something about this anyway.
I've already alerted them to the problem. [Starscream's hand picking up a datapad eclipses most of the screen while the first mech speaks.] They're...not optimistic about what we can do. Apparently there are enough cosmetic differences...
[There's a clatter as the datapad is dropped, and Starscream leans out of the picture. His engine growls again softly, and the brief flash of his face in the camera shows bright optics and an unhappy expression. The deliberate calm of his voice when he speaks stands at odds to the tense displeasure in his frame.]
...Then I suppose all we can do is make sure people want our product over theirs anyway. Get prototypes out to all the grounders in the pro--
