I am officially one of the largest nerds alive. In an effort to save lives I have come up with a revolutionary alternative to war. Yes, you heard it, war
( Read more... )
A few years ago, I came up with the theory that instead of going to war, nations would play the card game entitled "War" since...it already exists. =P And since many people find card games more boring than video games, the amount of wars we have would probably become more minimal. Which is a good thing. =P
lol Well. If you get the ambassadors of each nation that is at war in one room, you CAN play the game with every one of them. It's a multi-player card game. And if they have the means to go to other countries and kill each other, then they have the means to go to other countries and play cards.
yeah, but my way, you don't even have to leave your own home, they could be sending e-mails or there could be a national message system incorporated within the game, so it further simplifies the acts of engaging in war. Eventually they'll get so bogged down going to war over this and going to war over that they'll forget to finish their previous wars and just keep playing!
i'm just being a nerd, << and yeah, it's kinda pointless indeed, but i play a game with japanese players. They're not all as great as you think. The reason why they're often better is because the game is usually released there first, so they have more play experience. Also, they tend to obsess just a little bit, Avesta is so insane it isn't funny, but that doesn't mean any north american can't turn around and devote themselves entirely to the game and be just as good. The reason why JP's claim superiority over ff11 is because they got to the top ladder first, and then started undercutting and making it hard for the rest of us to succeed. Obviously this game wouldn't have such a disadvantage for the NA players. But this is all beyond the point because i was being purposefully nerdy and silly at the same time ;.;
heard of him, but history and famous people and geography aren't my specialty, something wants to tell me he's associated with trains :P anyways, avesta isn't a what, it's a who, and it's some jp player in ff11 that tries to solo anything and everything. This is significant cause this is a party based game. Avesta would solo himself if he could. As for obsessing... we do it differently, Video games are somewhat ingrained in jp society, it was not uncommon to have a video game lounge for people to play in when on break. but saying the average jp is better than the average NA player is totally not true, both sides have ups and downs. Just the way it goes.
lol He wrote the Declaration of Independence, most importantly. Which is the whole reasonw e exist as a country today. =P lol I see. But if you put our president in a game with the Japanese prime minister or president or whatever they call him, our president would lose. I bet our president has never even heard of video games.....
oh, the presidents don't play, their 'armies' do. Armies somewhat consisting of their trained forces who are good with vgames, but mostly open to the public :P You have to pass qualifications to get in, and you actually get paid for playing!

Oh, this is sad.
Military men probably know more about video games anyway. God knows they have enough time on their hands. -_-
