I wonder.... does anyone ever get the feeling that the less challenging, the less interesting, and the less work involved in something actually makes it harder for you to get around to? So far I've been great with getting my labs for summer school done, but I've got this really simple one to do, and I just can't get started. What's wrong with me? Most people don't do things because they're hard, but me it's more like "Oh, that's easy." "So why didn't you do it?" "Because it was easy?" I don't know. It's really mind boggling. Then there's the other end of the spectrum, something that's actually fairly difficult, but i've got no interest in.... "Why didn't you do it?" "It wasn't very interesting." Does anyone ever feel this way? 9 times out of 10, if there's something i'm supposed to do but don't get it done it's because it's not interesting, or has little to no purpose. The other 10% of the spectrum is just from my terrible memory. I suppose that this doesn't make any sense at all, and it's just another procrastination on my end to not do my lab. I'm sure it'll get done, sometime... I hope. Maybe.... Nya.... Why is everything so boring these days anyways? So very little of what we do in our day to day lives are actually interesting and creative. Alot of the time our lives consist of the same thing, day after day. It's because everything follows set courses, doing the same thing at work everyday, that I cannot fathom having a job. I'd be bored stiff. It's why I refuse to go back to teletech. Working in a call centre as customer support is Boring with a capital B. I really need to get this thing done, but I can't concentrate on it... I really, really, really gotta find something interesting to do with myself because this is starting to get ridiculous. On the plus side however only 10 more days of summer school (mon-fri) and then I'm done with that. Hurrah O.S.S.D. (ontario secondary school diploma) good bye high school, hello not having a clue of what to do next! I need to find a desk job, away from people, that's marginally different everyday, to avoid that repetitive monotonous feeling. Too bad such a job does not exist.
