Something dirty's with you, dear, makes me want to be with you
My bookmarks are gone, there's no getting them back.. Did some research on the situation and it appears to be a fairly common occurrence.. I had no idea.. So I'm just sucking it up and using this as an opportunity to reorganize my bookmarks into a more streamlined fashion.. I'll get them all back, eventually, and I'm going to make it a habit to export them to a different folder and back that file up to a floppy (If it'll fit, if not then a flash drive) regularly.
Another update, my mom is okay.. They removed some of the lump, tested it, and it is benign.. Another crisis averted..
My nephew has been saying some crazy things lately, cracking me up.. My mom told me she was watching TV and this commercial comes on where a guy was emptying out his fridge and tossing a bunch of different things into a bowl for a salad.. Green beans. blackberries, red potatoes, arugula, and the like were ingredients.. My mom says, "Ew, that's not a good mix." And my nephew decides to add his $0.02 by blurting out, "Yeah, like farm animals and dinosaurs." O.o Where the hell did that come from? I mean, yeah, it makes sense.. But this is coming from a 5 year old.. And I wonder what his reasoning for thinking they won't mix is.. My reasoning is because that either the farm animals will get eaten or squished.. His? I haven't a clue, there's no telling.. It was funny as hell.. Remember kiddies, farm animals and dinosaurs are not a good mix, so make sure you separate them..
His intelligence is astounding me as well.. Earlier he was playing with a balloon.. He went over to one of the central air vents and put the balloon over it and then put his hands over each end of the vent.. This made the balloon float directly in the middle and not wander.. I'm watching him do this and I asked him who showed him that.. He said nobody, that he figured it out himself.. The boy can be thick headed at times, and then he does things like this.. I honestly don't know what to make of him anymore.. When he starts school next month, things are gonna get interesting around here..
