Ninth Circle of Hell update 2.
Freezing rain stopped last night. Woke up to the sound of sleet.
Work smart enough to decide to stay closed today, so I slept some more. Woke up to the continued sound of sleet.
Sleet = traction on top of freezing rain, so good. Also means less likelihood of downed power lines. More sleet = less snow; also good. Most people smart enough to stay the hell home. Chiropractor's office closed, so no acupuncture for me; already scheduled for adjustment next week, so I'll just add the needles there.
Could still get up to a foot of snow here. Already snowing heavily in other parts of town, but it hasn't reached me yet. Could get thundersnow!
Will do laundry, play here on computer, putter around the house; have local stations on TV in the background to watch updated radar and snowfall estimates.
