Update.
1. Weather getting cooler. I wondered why my furnace hadn't come on. Turns out that the contractor had turned the thermostat off while he jacked the furnace up for better air flow, and didn't turn it back on afterwards. Oops.
2. Volunteered at a vote summit last night. Didn't have to do much, and got a free dinner and desserts. Win. Even dressed nicely, rather than my usual schlubby self.
3. Cooler weather means company in bed: no, not pets or a lover - spiders. Now sporting new spider bite on right ankle. Itches like whoa.
4. Photo shoot tomorrow. No new outfits. D: Taking outfit that hasn't got any good photos of it yet.
5. Oh, Weeble; what prompts this behavior? Weeble and I have been friends for many years. He's a steadfast guy, but not my type in a number of ways. He said a few years ago that he'd marry me if it weren't for the fact that he knew we were diametrically opposed on enough things that we'd drive each other nuts.
Well, he seems to be re-examining that position, and sniffing around for interest. No, sorry; your original assessment was one I completely agreed with, and nothing in the intervening time has caused me to think otherwise. He must be lonely. Not my problem to solve.
6. Put up curtains on third floor. Killed 3 centipedes: small, medium, and *shudder* large (or, as I refer to them, "Old Grandads"). Spiders: not bad (unless they insist on biting me - see #3 above), but centipedes - you give me the creeps, and bring out the destroyer in me.
