Okay, It all started on the 14th. I went to the ATM to get money to spend at the concert, And to what does my wondering wallet appear, But there was a mysterious lack of money in my bank account. As it turns out, NCO Financial, Inc. fucked me. Right up the asshole.
I set for one payment on my medical bills to be automatically made that Thursday, And they had taken TWO payments out of my account. The lack of money has set me back on my student loans by a month, And so Im trying to get ahold of them by phone, But theyre not open on Sundays. How convenient.
And now, Onto the concert.
When we first got there, I was pretty disappointed by the turnout. I got a pretty good parking space, If that tells you anything. Not many people there.
It all began with an unlisted Swedish band named Sweet Sin. They werent quite as expected. But eh, They were okay. The crowd wasnt really moving to them.
After them, It was starting to fill up nicely.
The second band was The Walls Of Jericho. Now this one impressed me. That girls got some serious lung power. I might look into that group a little more.
Whilst leaving the bathroom, I saw a familiar face. Dan Karn was at the concert! I didnt recognize him, He recognized me. Hes all skinny now with a goatee and piercings. I told him where Melissa and I were, And he met up with us before the next band.
Next up, OTEP. This is when I started in the pit. On my first venture into the tropical storm in the sea of bodies, I received the back of someones head to the mouth, And got a slightly bloody lip. It was great. But a few moshing songs later (Dan joined me in the pit), A new body was added to the pit. A massive 400lb (or so) man with a beard. Low and behold, Before the song was over, He was knocked down. On top of the comparably tiny me. After that, I had to call it a quits in the pit. My foot was really hurting,Making me limp even more than before, And my elbow wasnt feelin too good either.
And thats a damn shame too, Cause the next song was Confrontation.
The hardest songs were still to come. Damnit.
About halfway through Ill Niño.
All in all, It was a hella concert.
And now, I gotta go. Adios!
