road trip

I'm going on a road trip tomorrow! I'm heading down to NC to see Katrina/Lee/Elijah, and then K, E and I are going to the beach (Wilmington). Yum. Seafood at the beach. Then we'll go back, and I think I may go up to Longwood Gardens (near Philly) "on my way home." Elijah will be a year old in a couple weeks, and I'm going to miss his b-day

Have you ever visited Winterthur? It is, like Longwood, a Dupont estate and it is fairly close to Wilmington on your way to Longwood. It is truly beautiful with an incredible Rhododendron and Azalea collection, which works out perfectly with the time of your visit.

I was thinking about hitting that one too. I haven't been there yet.

The Wilmington we're going to is NC, not DE. That would be a lot more convenient, though!
