Chapter 4 Chapter 5-Small Elixir
When Arthur woke up he found himself in another room, unharmed. He sighed for a moment, and took a bit before getting off the floor and beginning to move again.
He wandered around the area he was in before entering the Gymnasium. He walked towards another small stage, where he found a lever. He pulled on it and the bleachers came out. Arthur saw that Gilbert was on the on the beams supporting the roof, he quickly made his way up the bleachers and maneuvered his way across the beams.
“The Gym should be safe, guards never exercise. Can’t afford to lose the weight, you know.”
“I never cared for sports at school...”
“Don’t care. I recall that one of the one of the ingredients for the potion was mushrooms...Nice texture. What’s that?” Gilbert looked down. Arthur followed his gaze and saw no Card Guards, but Banshees, their loud screaming sounds they made, easily giving them away. They floated towards the ceiling as Arthur made his way around. Something shiny caught the corner of his eye.
Another red vile.
Arthur watched it as he made his way around the beams. He debated on whether or not he wanted to go through that rage, anger and hate again.
A banshee moved through his body, leaving him cold and feeling empty for the brief moment it was in him. It was enough to sway Arthur’s vote on taking the vile. Arthur ran across the beam and picked up the vile, and drank it.
“How fine you look when dressed in rage. Your enemies are fortunate that your condition isn’t permanent. And you’re lucky too, red eyes suit so few.” Arthur felt the pain again, his joints were sore, but he could clearly hear Alfred’s voice which again was filled with an uncured bloodlust.
It didn’t take long for Arthur to kill the banshees, or whatever happens when you kill something that’s already dead. Arthur was still caught in his lust for violence as he made his way through another set of doors.
Arthur sprinted down the halls ungracefully, running into walls as he looked for the next thing to sink his knife into. He entered another room, where a few Card Guards remained. He killed a few off before the potion ran out. Arthur searched the new room for an unbarred door. The first one he found, was a chemistry lab. And to his surprise, there was Gilbert, fighting off more Card Guards. Arthur took on two Guards to help the Albino man.
“Well you’re fortunate that I passed by.”
“What’s that supposed to mean!? I was about to say, you’re lucky you found me!” Gilbert spat out egoistically “Look, I found the last ingredient. Sugared Spice Drops.”
“Whenever we meet up, seems like I also find a bit more trouble. Seen any Jumbo Grow about?”
“There’s some over there.” Gilbert pointed at a cabinet, “We’re set, just bring back some poppy blooms and we’ll mix up the potion.” Arthur grabbed the flask and moved it over to the main lab table.
Arthur made his way around the school looking for any sign of poppies. He eventually found a greenhouse attached to the 3rd grade classroom. (Though Arthur didn’t appreciate the fact that they spelled it “3rd Grayde” )
Once he grabbed the Poppies he made his way back to the Chemistry Lab.
“This condenser can mix the potion...Doesn’t look like it’s good for much else though.” With Gilbert messing around the condenser Arthur kept an eye on the door.
When Gilbert was finished, he held a star in his hand.
“Now it’s time to leave. But, don’t go as you came! Go through the Observatory!” Gilbert looked at the star, “This star is for your...stellar...performance. It may open a few doors for ya’.” Gilbert handed Arthur the star, “The Getting-Small Elixir is on the table. It’s yours. And with that, viel glück, junge” Gilbert ran off.
Arthur took the elixir and began to make his way to find the Observatory. Arthur opened a set of doors which were previously locked, they led to the main lobby of the school.
“Now where was the Observatory?” Arthur tried to remember, “That’s right it’s in the Library!” He ran towards the library and made his way through the shelves of books and up the stairs to the Observatory.
The Observatory wasn’t much to look at. The cracked and broken window panes, allowed the wind to howl through it, while the floor was covered in who knows what. Arthur ran up to see the telescope, he had no real interest in space, but he felt like he should go and look through the telescope.
When he peered through the telescope he noticed that the giant globe in the center of the room, which the telescope was focused on, opened up and revealed a mirror. What’s more the mirror changed and showed a dirty ground surrounded by giant blades of grass.
Arthur pulled out the Elixir.
“Well...bottoms up.” He drank the elixir and jumped across towards the mirror.
Not a very long chapter is it. > 3>;;;;;; Whoops. Sorry. Oh well...
