Okay, soooo I haven't written in this thing for a while but I figured I would tonight. Seeing as I can't fall asleep even though I'm really tired I decided to check out my grades for the semester (4.0). This brings my cumulative GPA to 3.91 which pretty much makes me really excited cause that means I should graduate suma cum laude at the end of next semester! How cool is that? My sister graduated suma so it kinda fits. I'm hoping next semester goes well. I am student teaching in North Carolina at Mountain View Elementary in first grade. I am my cooperating teacher's first student teacher. I'm definitely nervous, but I'm also really excited. I move down there on the 15th of August and I will be there until the 15th of December. I'm so going to be missing my family and Rob while I'm away, but I think the move down there will be good for me. It will help me to focus on what I need to. I will have a group of some pretty cool people down there with me and I really hope that they can help me adjust. I can't believe I'll be joining the real world after next semester. Megan has already jumped right into it. It's crazy how everything moved so quickly. From being so nervous at the beginning of college to becoming more confident in the middle to winding down to the end with a bit of a mixture.
And sometimes I can't help but think: Do I have to grow up?
Hahah of course the answer (at least to me) is yes. But there is always that slacker kid part of me that just wants to just drop everything and go everywhere I've always wanted to. Unfortunately money is a key element to those plans. Which is where the grown up thing comes in handy.
