w00t! for good times
I must say that last night was plenty of fun and def. a good time :-)
After work, I came home, put some gas in the Focus, and picked Rod up to go to the Highland Road Observatory. There was some learnin' and star gazin' and I really enjoyed Henry, the big Golden Retriever that belongs to one of the astronomers.
After I got a cramp in my neck from staring @ the sky, Rod and I rode around trying to figure out where to eat. We finally ended up @ Applebee's because, frankly, Duang Tawan looked a little dodgy to me.
After dinner there was a last minute run to Barnes and Nobles that was about 20min. too late --they closed at 11pm :-( But it was kinda hilarious anyway b/c that boy is a nut.
I dropped Rod off, but then called to see if he'd lend me a movie to watch when I got home (Paul was out with some friends and I didn't wanna be too bored if I couldn't fall asleep.) So I went in to dig through his stuff and ended up just chillin' for a few hours. Lots of laughs and lots of learnin' on the ol' graphic design software.
I didn't get home til after 4am, so Paul and I slept too long to get McDonald's breakfast (boo hoo!) but I didn't manage to find some fun/ useful things to leave as a little gift for Rod on his doorknob. I just read a message he left me a little while ago saying that he liked it, so I'm happy :-)
Other than all that, today has been really good, too. PB and I went to Hobby Lobby where I proceeded to buy myself a sketch pad and some pencils so I can doodle like a real artist. I gotta do something artsy these days.
Also, I painted my fingernails black. I know, I know -- very Lindsay Lohan of me, but I like it. I think I'll keep it for a while.
Once again, I've managed to right a genuinely cheery journal posting. Ha!
Tomorrow I get my quarterly helping of Sheila-Love and it shall be loverly!
