I've had these written up for about four days now:
All in all, it was a good solid ep.
Wilson was eating nearly every time we saw him in this ep and then the one time he wasn't, House was. Are they trying to turn Wilson into Rusty Ryan? However, four H/W scenes, a couple of looong looks (that balcony look alone), wonderful banter. I was happy. Very happy.
I love Foreman. I just needed to say it again. I love him showing a few mini!House characteristics. It's ... cute. Kinda.
Chase has really been gipped in this season so far. I'm not a huge fan, but he must be due for a story-line of his own this season. Wilson, Cuddy, Foreman and Cameron have all had at least little ones. However saying that, there was the scne with Andi in 'Autopsy' so maybe it's just me. They have at least got to continue with his father's storyline.
Cameron ... wasn't that annoying. I mean, she was annoying but her interaction with House, especially at the end, wasn't that bad. I must admit though, sometimes I don't mind their scenes together. I liked the end scene of 'Sports Medicine,' it was just everything that came after that was so painful. She's been better this season, but saying that, I haven't seen 'Acceptance.'
The case of the week was a little eh, but I did like the back-and-forth debates about what Sebastian was doing. It was interesting. Also, 'Welcome to the world. We are all different, we all get treated differently.' Nice point.
Meep. Duncan, Duncan, Duncan. Not that I think it really is him, because there are a few too many eps to go for them to point at the real killer yet, but they're leaving it very wide open. I'm almost expecting Logan's alibi to fall apart.
Logan and Veronica. Logan turning up at her computer like that almost made me jump. Also, the way he said, 'it was right after you guys broke up,' seemed almost a little malicious. I don't know if it was supposed to be or not. Maybe it was that it was obviously supposed to be something that went 'clunk' in Veronica's mind.
Case of the Week: It was okay but I was surprised at the end by how much I felt for Harrison because ouch. Losing a possible scholarship to Oxford would hurt.
That Clarence Weedman is good. Not that I'm surprised, being ex Army Intel and FBI but damn.
Veronica and Keith are working together. Aww.
I liked it a lot actually. It wasn't your typical romantic comedy, which I suppose given that Cameron Crowe was writing it was probably a given.
It was cute but there were also some other moments that hit your right in the chest. The flashbacks with Drew and his father worked very well.
Orlando's accent was a little jarring in places, but it wasn't that annoying really. He didn't do a bad job and Kirsten Dunst was pretty good as well.
It wasn't perfect and in a way I would have kind of liked a less happy ending - but hey, romantic comedy, that wasn't going to happen.
Shallow: Orlando and Kirsten. So pretty.

1. *headdesk* I think I just accidentally read who the killer is on Veronica Mars. *tries valiantly to forget*
2. Raymond Feist has got me again. He's not the best fantasy writer out there but his stories just get me for some reason. This time, it's the Empire series, which he co-wrote with Janny Wurts.
Pape! I knew he was doomed really, but still, I cried. *sniff* He was my favourite character. I also was shipping him like mad, and I'm not really sure why. Papewaio/Mara, Papewaio/Lujan, Papewaio/Arakasi, I saw them all! It was strange as I don't really go super ship crazy with books, but this time, I was slightly insane. It was a little bit predictible but it was definitely worth the read.
I'm finally making a dent in the ridiculous pile of books I have to read.
3. Serenity in two days! Hopefully anyway, as I haven't heard of any concrete plans as yet. *frets, probably needlessly*
4. RL ... eh. Confusion. Work. But hey, this time next week I'll be in Wellington! I can't wait. :D
5.
Really interesting House M.D meta by
catalase over in
pagingdrhouse. She draws some very interesting paralells. I'm not sure I'm with her on every aspect, but it is a very good overview of the six main characters and how they interact with each other.
6. DVD Unlimited sent me the start of S5 of Star Trek: TNG. I forgot quite how much I love these characters. Picard! Data! *sighs happily*
