I've missed you broadband.
Back from Christchurch. It was cold, and uh, weird. It was awesome to catch up with people and see my parents and brother, but overall I'm left with a feeling of yeah, weird. I can't explain it. Also, every time I come back from Christchurch I am even more convinced I couldn't live there long term again. *hearts Wellington*
Something that may have contributed to the weird, was my friend sending me a text yesterday implying that he thought my flat may have been broken into (it wasn't, someone had left the key in the door and didn't hear my friend call out), but ever since there has been a thought running around at the back of my head about my laptop which I decided to leave behind in my room. But it is safe! <3!
One good thing about this weekend was the ridiculous amount of Olympics coverage I watched including Usain Bolt's 100m, Shawn Johnson's awesome smile in the women's all around gymnastics, Michael Phelps' eighth gold, and NZ's awesome 5 medal night on Saturday (Mahe Drysdale, you really are kind of wonderful). So much love for the Olympics.
I have done a little bit of an LJ catch up, and there was Vividcon and SGA Big Bang and new SGA (which I might hold off on for now, because I think I need to make a data cap judgment call, and "The Shrine" is so going to win), but I should get an early night (for me) because I just don't think tomorrow is going to be that great a day at work.
