Life Is Slow

For all I complain about University I sure do get lazy the second it finishes. I haven't done much except read 'The Red Queen' by Matt Ridley and 'Superior Saturday' by Garth Nix since I finished my exams last month. Also I have clocked up an insane number of hours on Final Fantasy 12 and still have exactly no feeling of accomplishment because it ( Read more... )

Did you get the in-joke where Hiroto sang and when he camera went back on him, he was on the lyric where he sang "Smile." XD

It rings a vague bell, I'll have to go re-watch a bunch of Kabuto eps but I think I know what you mean. I wish there would be something more obvious though.

Well, his character is pretty much Yaguruma without the ZECT "let's be a hive" mentality. XD

If only he'd visit a Hot Topic. Come on Miu, you're his fangirl...

At least we saw him in a highschooler uniform. XD

I wish they'd do more with Hiroto, so far all we've seen him do is criticize, develop a grudging respect for the go-ongers and save Miu.

But their similarities it makes me want to write a fic where we see Yaguruma find redemption, changes his name to Hiroto and manages to attract a crazy fangirl named Miu who decides he's the older brother she never had but always wanted.

Aaactually. If you count the "in between" shows...apparently Kageyama actually survived 8D

But, I could see that happening XD I wonder if Kage and Miu would catfight over him?

Have you ever heard of those live stage shows they have? Well, (I'm not sure how long they've been doing this) they do an in-between show that has the next year Rider with the previous year Rider fighting against their enemies. For example, there is a Kabuto and Deno one.

Now, as to whether or not you'd count it...would you count it as canon if 1. Toei wrote the script for it and 2. they used the 'official voices' of all the characters and 3. Used high-end effects and stage props.

Those? Oh I don't think I'd regard those as cannon

Ooh? I'd see why you wouldn't think the regular ones weren't.

But, I'd guess it'd depend on how much you'd have wanted Kageyama to survive XD Though, your scenario would work either way. Plus, the play migh exist in a time before Kageyama was killed.

Personally I thought his death was pointless. I mean...it was like kicking a man when he's already been through hell. What, they didn't think Yaguruma was enough EMO?? I wonder if there was a scene that was cut to show what happened. It'd be really sad if, like some people speculate, that Yaguruma headed off to kill himself. o__o

I personally don't think he would but I think Kageyama's death adds another layer to his character, if it was to be developed, in my recent fic, I featured a post Kabuto Yaguruma, if briefly. That said as a character Kageyama is also very interesting but he represents a part of Yaguruma's life that he doesn't like and by dying it gives Yaguruma a chance to pull his life back together as a vaguely useful member of society (At least in my mind). Although Kageyama and Miu fighting over Yaguruma/Hiroto would be awesome
