I just returned home from a trip to North Carolina to visit family. This is the first time I've done that by myself in more than ten years and I promise it will be the last. Is anyone familiar with CREDO mobile (formerly 'Working Assets' wireless?) I received an advertisement from them this week. Normally I would have just tossed it with the junk mail, but I was curious and read the information. "Congratulations Mr. President."

"And now President Obama ..."

And of course my own sigh of relief, along with a that of a large portion of our country and that of the world.

There's still a long, bumpy road ahead ... and there will be detours and potholes, but I have more confidence in the newly selected driver. (Now we just have to make sure the current occupant actually vacates the seat at the next stop.)

Halloween's over, it's time to take down the scary decorations. So why am I still seeing McCain signs? Those are just Halloween decorations, right? (They sure scare me, anyway.)
