Being sick sort of... sucks.
So, this is the second day I've been home sick... and it really sucks. I don't know what it is I have, but I can't go to school until I'm 100% better because everyone is paranoid about Swine flu and a kid can't so much as sneeze these days without getting quarantined in the nurses office and sent home. Which is pointless, when you think about it. If that student does have swine, then a fat lot of good it goes to lock them up now. They've already been to some or most of their classes, and they'd have already infected whoever was there with them, and in turn those students would have taken it to their next class.
Honestly, quarantining the kids won't do any good... Just send them home or get over it.
Anyway...
On with my utterly boring day this far.
I woke up around ten, which is very late for me, given my record is normally around eight at the latest. I get around on few hours of sleep, unless I'm sick, in which I suddenly lose my normal insomnia-like lifestyle and get the sleep I need. It's somewhat annoying, but I suppose my body needs the extra rest. I spent most of my morning replying to forum related things over at Marukaite Chikyuu and then I read a few fanfics.
...Then I got really, really bored and started watching Nabari no Ou again over at the FUNinmation website (switching between the dubbed and subbed episodes.) Which eventually got boring because I'd seen the anime so many times and I'd yet to see Miharu and Yoite kiss (which is disappointing) and thus, I moved on to watching Fruits Basket in English because it is one of the best dubs I've seen. Even the opening and closing in English are wonderful... and sung by some of the voice actors in the anime (the opening by Kagura Sohma [Meredith McCoy] and the closing by Tohru Honda [Laura Bailey].)
After that, moved to YouTube and started watching these Hetalia WTF!? videos, which are absolutely hysterical.
If you can't tell, I really don't have anything to rant about today. Ah well~
My friend and I are working on an FST for Hetalia couples, so I hope to upload that soon.
