It started in March, we had somehow started lock down early march.
It was too late. I believe we started lockdowns mid-March, around March 17. At first it was two weeks. Then on April,
it got extended til the end of April. It was around May that we opened up a little bit. But by June, we went back to the lockdowns, a lighter version of it and called it Modified General Quarantine. During this time , the PhilHealth and ABSCBN franchise senate hearings were also being done.
July through September, it went fast. But in general, people started working, first at 50% capacity, but not everyone had to report to an actual office. Most IT folk remained Working from home, with the internet. PLDT actually upgraded most of the bandwidth for everyone.
October and November went by so fast. Anyway, more
restrictions were eased by October. It's now mid-November, it's quite rainy. There have been two typhoons Rolly and Ulysses (intl: Goni, intl: Vamco, respectively) to have hit, with the Ulysses bringing flooding back to Marikina valley similar to Ondoy in 2009. Except it affected as well Cagayan province, and Tuguegarao was hit with floods.
Politics wise, the social media has been focused on giving excuses, about why dams were let running, the anger of many people who were unprepared not informed of the flooding in Cagayan. Internationally, Biden won the 2020 US elections.
Personally, we're surviving. Only two relatives got the COVID but have recovered, it required hospitilization and recovered after two weeks. 2021 is coming soon. Hopefully we can all return to semi-normal by then. The world won't ever go back to normal, but the least we can do is try to be less paranoid and enjoy our lives. All those deaths make us all realize we should "enjoy it while it lasts".
