Not much going on here at the moment. Mom and Dad are still in California and will not be back until Thursday at the earliest. She has an appointment with the doctor tomorrow and hopefully everything will be good news. On this day in 1912, President William Howard Taft signed the papers that admitted Arizona as the 48th state in the Union. Huzzah!

The seasons are changing here in Tucson. The winter migration of snowbirds is on and the state is preparing for the departure of Janet Napolitano as she heads to Washington. The only bad part of that is that Jan Brewer will be the Governor for the remainder of Napolatino's unfilled term. That gives the state Republican party the Governor's Office ( Read more... )
