A Letter To My Father

Feb 01, 2007 21:53

Dear Dad,

If you were still alive
I'd want you to know
All the things that I think of
About you and everything else
You would tell me what I should
And shouldn't do
A director in the smallest way
But the most important one
I've seen your notes and drawings
The numbers and abbreviations
Your letters and even and slanted
Mine melt and crawl
I need to know
If you were still alive
Would you be proud of me?
Your only son
I would try to make you smile
If you weren't dead

From,
Kevin
