Today I woke up at the right time. I hung around the house for a little, then I went on the bus. School was stressful. Too much work. After school me and Nate played videogames at his house. He kept beating the hell out of me. We played some castle game and another shooting game, which I was better at. When he had to leave, I got dropped off at Gill, and walked to Mike Thomas's house, getting lost on the way. We shot airsoft and listened to music in his room, and then played instruments in his basement. I ate dinner there, which was really good, and then soon after we went to CC for the show.
At CC, we arrived and the first band was already playing. They weren't that good, and then Happy Living played. On their last song, I got onstage and clapped along, and at the start of the next band's set they said "No more of you onstage if you're not in the band." Strike one. A little after, there were kids giving each other piggyback rides, so I got on Mike Thomas' shoulders and pretend punched the other kids in a pretend chicken fight. The school people yelled at me to get down, so I put my hands on my head and got on the floor. An old guy told me that if I didn't cool out "there is a door." Strike two. A band played a Taking Back Sunday song, and Mikey and Nick wanted to go mosh, so I jumped in with them. We were the only ones, and then Nick and Mikey looked like they dropped out so I started windmilling and other ridiculous things and an old lady came up to me and said to stop, so I went "Come on! Get into it!" But she didn't, so I left. Strike three. Later I was playing with a glowsitck, and I bit it, because I like biting glowsticks, and it tasted like shit. I felt it and it was really oily, and I looked at my hands and they were glowing so I freaked out and washed myself. Strike four??? There was another moshpit during the last band, a real pit. I was in it, and then some old guys came and broke it up. Strike five! At the end of the night, Happy Living ended up not winning, but it was cool because half the bands there sucked.
It was really cool. I had a really good time, and I'm turning 16 on Sunday so I expect mad love from everyone.
