The silence is broken
Okay, so it was never actually silence, but I have not gotten feedback on my dissertation in what feels like a LONG time. Like several weeks...
And so after a glorious week of spring break (which included working two days-- but that's another story) I finally got back the next chapter from my dissertation chair today.
And it has 77 comments on it. YAY!!!!!! This is feedback I can work with!
AND:
We have agreed on a date.
A DATE.
A DATE!
My date: My dissertation defense is scheduled for Thursday, June 4, at noon!
I have notified the Ph.D. office, and they've given us a room and it's all suddenly becoming very official. Eee!
NOW, I just need to carve out time to make all of the fine-tuning kinds of changes to my document that are requested so I can send it to the rest of the committee...
But YAAYYYY!!!!!
