((OOC: Alright, let's just roll with whatever! o7))

[...Ugh, this looked worse than he could've imagined. Tartarus? Felt like a stroll in the park compared to this. Is that her world?...

EITHER WAY. He was seasoned in battle enough to know that he was distracting her, regardless of whether he was currently under any danger or not. And as it stand? He should at least be able to fend for himself, because dream or not, the last thing he would want to be is a burden to her already fighting and conflicting mind.

Hand still out of sight but clutching tightly his Evoker, he quickly took a sweep of the area before rolling over to her side. Under an unfamiliar setting, it's always best to stick close to those you know.]

...Probably not, but I'm willing to ask questions later- [He replied, naturally sounding more pressured than usual, and there--

Some sort of beast that he might have recognized if he took the time to look at it in the face, which he did not. Battle instinct finally won over logic under the sudden adrenaline rush provided by the setting, and taking less than a split of a second to refocus - his back was to her, so maybe she won't see him pointing the gun at his own temple -

BANG--

A surreal white figure appears for a few moments above him, though what's even more notable is that whatever that thing that came for their throats was, it suddenly found itself swatted aside a good 30 feet back at least when the being swung down the marble-white chain of... coffin lids? that it carried, summoning a huge fist to deal a large amount of strike damage to the target that obviously did not possess an ability to Repel or Absorb the attack. God's Hand - the creature whimpered, but were it to return, at least Minato was sure that he could do something now, agaisnt all logic and odds.]

Are you alright, Argilla-san? [He looks over his shoulder, but the Evoker is in plain view, now.]

[She keeps her eyes on the demon coming out from between the buildings, so Argilla misses the headblasting. But she easily hears the gunshot. It happens so close that she instinctively ducks out of the way, and only turns around when she realizes that it wasn't a bullet directed at her...And when that demon goes flying back a good five feet or more.

She catches a glimpse of what has to be another demon, pale and white...Which seems to flicker away the moment she sees it, leaving just Minato behind.]

"Not dead yet."

[She says in response. This really isn't a situation where 'alright' is an option; that will only be available when there aren't things trying to kill them. She also notes the gun.]

"Looks like you can fight; that's good. We should try to get to a place with more breathing room."

[Talk about a Monster House. He thought those only existed in games - even Innocent Sin Online wasn't so bad.

...Er, focus. He nods back.] Is there anywhere here that we can talk? [He STILL didn't think that he can be harmed in her dreams, but RE: Better be safe than sorry.

...

Besides, did she even know that she was dreaming? Maybe she can take care of these hordes some other way, if she gains control of her dream. He should bring that up.

...Once they're somewhere safe. ...Oooor not as dangerous. Evoker still in hand, he's not making any move to attack what's not after his blood, though his eyes are still trained on Argilla.]

[At least there's nothing else charging at them, after a display like that. Argilla nods, her eyes quickly scanning the area again. Some of this looks familiar; she remembers running through it before, when the Embryon were trying to get into Manipura, instead of clawing their way back out.]

"Duck into there."

[She takes her hand off her rifle long enough to point towards a fairly strong looking door. At least, strong in the sense that the thing is still on its hinges, even after taking several dents, bullets, and...What looks a lot like claw marks.]

[Minato follows - he can still feel the adrenaline rushing through his veins. He's been in life-threatening situations before, but Argilla's world just completely redefined the entire principle. The air smelled of smoke metal - or may it be blood too? -, and while he followed Argilla with enough ease, the corner of his eyes were still alert to the surroundings.

He stood guard and watched while the gunwoman did what she could to blast open the door, making light note of all the damages that it already went through. It'll be nice to find a place to talk for a bit, but...]

What if there are things behind that door? [...Somewhat rhetorical - silly, even, but he had to ask.]

"We'll have to take care of it if they are."

[No, she doesn't sound happy about that when she says it. The door seems to be stuck on the hinges; something probably dented it hard enough to deform them. Argilla puts a hand on the handle, and starts trying to force it open. She manages to speak between yanks, when she gets in a full breath.]

"But there...Shouldn't...Be anything. Would've-"

[The door gives a harsh scream, but also gives a little as well.]

"Been able to tell. Probably."

[Argilla takes her hands off, taking a look at her work. The door is open, by a gap or so; still, it looks like enough to squeeze through.]
