I was going to write about the films that I'd been watching lately to get through the exams, but when I got bored of writing it I realised how boring it would be to read it. I might do something at some point, but not for now.
We went to the cinema last night though to see 'The Lake House'. I won't say anything about the plot, I'm sure at least one person reading this will be planning on watching it in the near future. I really enjoyed it though, and thought that both Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves were great in it. The plot was pretty clever, though after reading and loving 'The Time Travellers Wife' by Audrey Niffeneger I could see similarites (funny that - they both concern people separated by time). It was different enough not to feel like a rip off though, and if someone is one day brave enough to attempt an adaptation of 'TTTW' it would still work.
We're all doing so little at the moment. The backdrop of the World Cup is the perfect excuse to sit and do nothing. It makes such a change after being on the go for so long, and the hugely stressful time that was finals - its really really nice. Todays matches were a bit odd - the England match was utterly stressful, and the Portugal match made us laugh but for all the wrong reasons.
I'm sure I was going to say something else, but I'm shattered, and I've had to delete more than I've written so I'm going to give up!
