43) The Lost Books: Chosen by Ted Dekker, finished 5/29
A young adult book I grabbed during the big Walden books haul. Quick read, enjoyable. A second series of books ion same universe but reading the first set isn't necessary. Main character has an emphasis on being a clever hero who uses his heart. Not among my very favorite books but readable.
44) The Black Magician Trilogy: Novice by Trudi Canavan, finished 6/1
The second book grew a lot on me, obvious complications set up, some dealt with some awaiting a big conclusion. some shippiness and angst which I get a real kick out of. I'm glad I have the final awaiting me.
45) The Lost Books: Infidel by Ted Dekker, finished 6/3
This time, hero makes what appears to be big mistake in order for everyone to doubt him even though he makes a Big Damn Discovery. Again with the enjoyable but I do feel the author is a bit more trumped up than he really deserves.
