41) Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan, finished 5/27
One of my kids loved this book and he's sort of a reluctant reader. I read it myself and saw how the hero can appeal to that type of reader, as well as those who love reading. There's a lot of references to Greek Mythology which I really enjoyed.
42) The Walker Papers: Coyote Dreams by C.E. Murphy, finished 5/29
Again, one of my new favorite writers and I adore this heroine. I really like the growth of the main character and her realization of her own struggles and issues along with her snark. I'm really glad yyo know more are in progress.
