Oh, joie!

Apparently, if all goes well, a story of mine ("Today is the first day of the rest of your life") will be translated into french and published in an international anthology of SF called Utopiae. Joie!
This will make it the third language my stories are translated into, after english and spanish. Me happy.

Er... Does anybody in the audience happen to read french? I'd really like to know if the translation is any good, when it's done...

Edit: It appears, by the way, that again, I'm getting a head start because of being female. They always prefer female writers when possible (well, except for Gordon Van-Gelder from Fantasy & Science-Fiction, who obviously didn't even know I'm female.) Happened to me in the past, for instance, when some radio show was looking for SF people to interview. I suggested Didi or someone else. They said, "we prefer you, females are better."
Well, yes. I can agree with THAT statement.
