Samarkand Apartments, at the western end of Avenue Joffre, were designed and built in 1929-1930 by Palmer & Turner. They were marketed as Palm Beach-style and California-style bungalows, “a welcome alternative to the large apartment houses.”

This real estate post shows the interior of the rooms and gives the price: 4.5 million euro for a 100 sq m apartment.
