1933 vs. 2014

Rudolf Hamburger (1903-1980), a German architect, worked in Shanghai in the 1930s. He was employed by the SMC in 1930-1933. Besides the new building of the Victoria Nurses Home (1933), which replaced the old one from 1899, he worked on several other municipal projects - possibly a school and a prison building - as mentioned here.

This was a super-brief issue of the NETA column, which features obscure architects of Shanghai.
