Haha, I read all four of those terrible novels. Badly written, cheesy dialogue, unappealing characters, and yet . . I couldn't put the damned things down!

Ahh well, I'll get around to seeing the movie sometime.

Life's lessons are hard to learn sometimes, and often not very exciting. People's lives take them in different directions, and that's ok. I don't think you're a bad friend. :D

I'm actually very curious to see Twilight. It looks fairly cool, albeit cheesy. But I have no problem with cheesy. And you're right, most people give it a hard time because of the horrible fandom they associate it with. Similar reason that many of our friends shy away from a myriad of things, from High School Musical to Hamasaki Ayumi. Both of which are things which, we can agree, are actually quite awesome... thank you very much. ^_^
