Unexpected Doll Model
I was surprised when I saw this ad on the back cover of the latest issue of Time Out New York that I received in the mail today:
It's for an McQ by Alexander McQueen collection for Target stores. I'm not sure what Blythe has to do with it, if anything but being the "spokesmodel." The song "Baby Doll" by The Duke Spirit is played on the webpage, and it seems their music was the inspiration for the designs. I don't keep up with Blythe news, so I don't know if this is old information, but I just wanted to share. :)
I kind of wonder if I should check it out this weekend. Some of Target's limited edition "designer" stuff is cute, and that collection might be one of those things that sells out quickly. It goes on sale at Target stores on March 4, and this early sale is in Manhattan, which doesn't even have a Target!
