Durarara!! episode 16
First of all, I'm happy about how much Shizuo there is in this episode.
Secondly, SHIZAYA IS WAY MORE CANON NOW THAN IT WAS ORIGINALLY. Thank you Erika, for that observation. I agree wholeheartedly. Shinra seems to consider it, too, since y'know, he'd totally know about those back-alley romps that'd have occurred back when they were in high school. Lunchmates ftw. (BUT WAIT, THIS WASN'T THAT CELTY THINKING YAOI STUFF SCENE YET, RIGHT? I think she was supposed to be outdoors at the time. God these people.)
"Why are you here?"
"To punch you, of course."
"Why do you want to punch me?"
"Because I'm pissed off."
You obviously just want to see him, going all the way to Shinjuku from Ikebukuro. Sweet boy.
It's totally a "believe in me, who believes in you!" kind of situation.
Regardless, these guys are awesome.
Anyway, the plot: oh my god this is all so confusing but I sorta knew it would come to this, but even so what the hell does it all mean. Cue additional 人ラブラブ.
I have an idea, but I don't want to think about it and spoil myself in the end. Which is why I don't read the light novel. Drrr!! is more fun when you have no idea what's happening 99% of the time.
Episode 17 is gonna be full of Shizuo kicking some ass. I'm so excited.
