I too would be inclined to think #1, but with a big dose of "but who knows" tacked on. I have no instincts about these social things and have trained myself not to listen to my instincts in order to avoid being prejudiced and whatnot. Unfortunately, my instincts are usually right, but I never hear them speaking to me until after the fact. But were I the jumping to conclusions type, I'd almost certainly say #1.

I don't know that I'd say that... Probably a good 50% of the guys I have met I would prefer they never have sex with anyone, just based on the comments they make about women when in there are none around. Sadly, there are pretty few guys out there who don't talk about women like they're total assholes who just want to get laid. Seeing the world this way has (in part) led me down the path of cynicism, which accordingly makes it easy for me to believe that a random guy could be a jerk and not someone you'd do well to have sex with ( ... )
