Loki helps Avengers

Looking for a fic I read about 3 or 4 years back. I can't remember if it is Gen or Slash, but if the latter it would be Frostiron or Thunderfrost. All I can actually remember is two scenes. Loki is on Earth and comes to the Avengers rescue when they are battling some kind of monster. It turns out to be some kind of experimental critter. Every time
