Loki helps Avengers
Looking for a fic I read about 3 or 4 years back. I can't remember if it is Gen or Slash, but if the latter it would be Frostiron or Thunderfrost. All I can actually remember is two scenes. Loki is on Earth and comes to the Avengers rescue when they are battling some kind of monster. It turns out to be some kind of experimental critter. Every time it "dies" the skin splits and another emerges. Loki drained his power but finally destroyed it. They were eventually able to trace its origins to an A.I.M base in the mountains. There were a series of caves or caverns filled with cages of more of these creatures. That's all I can recall. I would really love to reread this. If anyone can help I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!
