So before he was Bad Horse he was Sleipnir, six legged steed of Odin himself until he got sick of this asshole riding his ass all the time and went to Midgard where his mother/whatever/it’s-complicated had been a super villain for years.

Fast forward and Bad Horse is the name to be feared, he’s managed to crawl out from under his father’s shadow and made himself a powerful presence in the super villain ranks of Midgard.

Then Dr. Horrible comes along and for some reason Sleipnir can’t fathom, his father/mother/w/e takes a liking to him and takes him under his metaphorical wing. He gives him tips on how to overcome his Painful Penny Past and basically acts like a father to him.

“Uh, Loki, sir, I think your son might be a little, uh, upset with me. I don’t really want to be on the bad side of the Thoroughbred of Sin.”

Loki replies, proudly,

“Yes, he’s a chip off the old block that one is. Full of daddy/mommy/Whatever-I-feel-like-at-the-moment issues, just like I was at his age.”

And it is all part of Loki’s plan because apparently that is how you be a good father/mother/w/e in his brain? Look, I’m not saying he’s well adjusted, okay.

Not the Op, but I felt it needed to be noted that Thor should realize that "The hammer is my penis." His reaction (anger, pride, what have you) would be awesome.
