Okay, so I think we already know where my loyalties lie on American Idol, if, you know, I can be said to have loyalties that have something to do with American Idol.
Which, obviously, I can.
But Crystal really knocked it out of the park this week, and I'll share a link for those of you who never, never have anything to do with AI (like me, prior to this season).

Admittedly, the only other person I've ever heard sing "People Get Ready" is the inimitable Rod Stewart (in that way where who the hell would want to imitate him?). The main reason I've heard that version approximately three million times is because Jeff Beck played the guitar solo.
So imagine how much more awesome Crystal's version would have been with Jeff Beck. Yeah.
