Azula spends time in one of the air temples and later in the fic she meets the original fire benders and learn from them because her bending failed.

Anyhow, I was watching S1 reruns on Nick a few days ago and they were showing the finale. Ever since then I've had the urge to find/read a fic where Sokka, Katara and Yue DON'T find Zuko and Aang. Which then leads to the due being stranded in the blizzard and having to survive. Is there any fic like this out there?
