Movie Review: Tangled (in 3D)

Nov 26, 2010 21:46

Tony and I just got back from the theatre. We watched Disney's newest release, Tangled.

Basically, it's a revamp of the story of Rapunzel. But, she's a stolen princess whose hair was originally supposed to be brown, and she has green eyes. Every year, her parents, the King and Queen, light lanterns and release them into the sky on their missing daughters birthday. Every year, on her birthday, Rapunzel looks out her window at night and looks at all the lanterns. She feels deep inside that they are somehow related to her, but doesn't know how and desperately wants to find out. Her "mother", who is actually a witch named Gothal, refuses to let her even ask about leaving, let alone think about it. Everything is going smoothly for the witch until Flynn Rider enters the scene, and things start going missing left and right! (if I tell you anymore than that, I'll ruin the movie ;p)

Tons of great laughs! I'd recommend this movie to anyone who can tolerate a little cheese and loves several good laughs in a row. :) The characters were all really great, so of course the actors did good jobs. I loved the animation, the score, the 3D! It was an all around good movie, with a couple very short moments with a creepy factor in them. I give this movie 5 stars! <3

That concludes this movies review! Tony and I are going to start a community where we jointly review movies. XD Kind of... a married couples project? lol When we have it up, we'll let you know! So please watch it, and we can discuss things... and you can tell your friends? Maybe? XD
