minor success, good for my ego eh?

ok, so. It's memorial day, a nifty national holiday and all. Schools are closed, the weather is not good for flying and not having any kin who were soldgers who are buried locally so we can go and clean their graves. I chose to work on the bus with no name.
KTY and I went out and figured how to remove the two center seats and remove them. We handed off the front and more tore up seat to KTE and FIL to haul up stairs to KTE's room as an additional love seat.
KTY and I then moved the rear and less torn seat to the forward position and latch it down. We work pretty well together KTY and I. We then moved on to the front of the bus and after removing the visors we held a plank of wood in place and marked it for a shelf. Took it down and brought it in to cut it so shape. We did well enough that it only took two fittings to get it close enough to right. Yea. Took it back out and measured and marked the risers to hold it to the celing of the bus. We then cleaned up our mess and put the bus away in the parking lot.
Then I cut the risers and drilled the pilot holes in the shelf. Now I just have to mount them, mount a lip on the front of the shelf and glue a piece of cloth on the bottom of the shelf so it doesn't look like the ratty piece of scrap wood that it is. Add a few cubby holes, mount it up and viola! A nifty new shelf right where I need one.
Moving the project forward!
