It's been a difficult kind of week and I've slipped on posting, sorry.
For no reason I can think of the pain levels have been high, like around a sweven or so all week, and it's been hard to deal with. Even after all this time I'm still no good at asking for help. Makes me feel lazy, like I'm not holding up my fair share so I get to add guilt and a bit of depression to my list.
I've been tyrying very hard to shake it off and it seems the harder I try the worse it hits. No bueno.
Still I've had some very positive hits this week and I should feel good about them. For our Wednesday group dinner I made a fancy cheese and meaty sausage based slumguilian. Lots of vegis, zukes, green onion, garlic, bok choy, mung bean sprouts, crmini mushrooms, granny smith apples, carrots, along with the nifty sausages and a nice marsala wine, a big healthy splash or three, and a shot of soya sauce.
I served it over basmati rice and everyone claimed it was very tasty. And it musta been cuz there wasn't much at all left over. The late stayer and I had a small dish of spumoni ice cream after everybody else left, There are perks to being in the latte night discussion group (can you call two people a group?).
Thursday I took the wife tp see the new Star Trek movie. It was fun and kept my interest pretty well, and that's all I'll say about it, no spoilers here sweetie...
That brings me to today. So far I've pulled the far back seat out of the bus with no name and brought it into the dining area where it now replaces several church seats we were using, nice. After that KTE and I reinstalled the aft A/C vent covers with a bit of glue and played with the engine a bit. One of the O2 sensors was acting up (unit one bank one) but it was a slightly loose wire. Tightened it up and cleared the computor and its fine now. There are some nifty bits with the OBD2 system once you learn how it works. Mostly you just need the dongle and machine thingie, $32.95 at Kragan or is it O'Rielley?
Anyway it's cheap enough and simple. Pl;ug it in oress a button and after a minute or so it shows you a number. You look up that number in the repair book or online, Google "fault codes" and find your alphanumeric and there it is. Yee haw.
Yet to do today; shower, cook steaks and artichokes for dinner, make a load out list for tomorrow, watch a few good mysteries on tv and hopefully get a good nights sleep. See? I'm doing everything right and working through the pain as well as I can but still I feel like I'm not holding up my end at all.
I dunno, I hope I'll figure a way thropugh this and get my head back on straight but it's rough going for now. Oh well...
