I'd posted this a while ago on my own journal, but it looks like I had forgotten to post it here. This is my analysis of Aang/Katara, Mai/Zuko and their main non-canonical rival pairing, Katara/Zuko. Mainly I've tried to reveal the appeal behind the different pairings to come to a better understanding of why we ship the different couples.
